Im not fully aware of all the particulars....I do know however that the direction of the clan was veering off what was originally intended. Zog, come to the beach sometime and play a lil wolf with good ol doc

Beyond that ascerbic release, it was fun having Zog mosey on over to the Beach the other night.

Here's the deal, and I'll be as straight-forward as possible. Me leaving the S.S. isn't that big a deal. I've been with them almost since the start, but like any long term relationship different dynamics started affecting me and other members.

First and foremost is the fact that the S.S. got huge, and I barely knew half the players...and they barely knew me.

Second, I think the talent level far out-stretched my abilities, and there began a rift between the new competition players and the regular grunts like me. The new guys didn't know me, or my game or anything beyond my competitiveness and my sharp tongue, and I believe the combination started to irk a lot of people.

Third, I didn't like the selfish attitudes of some of the players. Where the S.S. I helped build was a group of people I thought (for the most part) made things fun for a lot of people, and not just the people IN the clan...the new S.S. seemed bent on personal stats and winning their 1-on-6 battles vs actually contributing to their team. Most of these guys were quite capable of taking on 6 people in a fire-fight, but they were honestly doing no-one on their team any favors by doing so.

Fourth, I think it was time to move on. I like people to know me by who I am, and not some color or special Clan tag. I think I made enough of a name for myself to be able to be recongized as more than just some clan slug.

That being said, the S.S. is on their set path and I wasn't in that plan. No big deal, I wish them well. Although a bitterness remains in me for those who I think poisoned our original idea, I couldn't see me making a stand to alter where the S.S. was headed.

I'd like to think i still have friends in the S.S., but i know some petty, selfish attitudes will prevent certain people from ever admitting my opinion actually meant something....and that I contributed more to the group than almost anyone in the clan.

Going back to the beach reminded me of simpler times, where people played for fun and were able to put aside cliques and bogus status to have a good time making poetry from all the chaos.

(How's that for sounding down-right Keek-like?).
