not him you smacker...that is James Earl Jones (also from Field of Dreams and many other great movies). I mean the young guy....he is from Vancouver I think....

That's Hayden Christensen, born in Vancouver, but moved to Thornhill, Ontario. That's within the GTA, like 15 minutes north of where I live.

Not that I condone the money being spent, but in all reality 7.5 M in our government spending budget is chump change.
And in all reality, if the military didn't do certain experiments from time to time, our society would never advance. A lot of inventions in our society have come from the military.
For those that thought that the breaking the sound barrier was a thing that could not be done, or communications satellites, GPS and various other things that we take for granted now.
By no means am I saying that I think that this project shows promise, but could you image if we had this and we could just teleport an assasination squad somewhere to "take care" of a political leader instead of having to do a full scale war? Talk about power...
