Any good RTS games?

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

I downloaded the demo of Kohan II. It's the same blend of magic/fantasy as Warcraft. My son really enjoyed the demo and it's getting good reviews. Haven't played it myself. You might want to check Kohan II out.

Mmmgood, I have never liked RTS games. I have rearely played them since I didn't like them as much as turned based.

I got the hang of Rome Total War in about a half hour.
It is simply the best strat game I have ever played. This from a Civ series fanatic.

Dawn of War - the demo is pretty fun, it's not like most where you build units and just overwhelm, the battles are long drawn out, smaller engagements, but with artillery and very diverse units for each race...worth a try through the demo.

If you want a cheap game you can buy fallout 1 &2 in a bundle.

Great games. Graphics arn't the best, but it has great open based gameplay. You can be evil, or good, but the game doesn't force anything upon you. It doesn't even force you to go anywhere, although it encourages you with a 150 day (game time) time limit, but that is more than enough time.

If you want multiplayer, try fallout tactics. Better graphics, still an older game, but it has multiplayer, and vehicles.

I'm a big fallout fan. :)
