i dont care either. up here we have to pay extra taxes on blank media (like blank tapes, blank CD's) which then goes to artists to cover any potential loss in sales due to copying.
i think it's only a few cents and it lets me download unlimited amounts of music legally

but even if i lived in US, i would still download music. im not paying $15 for a CD with two good tracks on it.
if the music industry wants people to stop downloading, they should lower their prices and stop pumping out fake bands that need computers to make their voices sound good.
record companies have been screwing consumers for ages.
a cd costs $10-20 to buy...the blank CD cost a couple of pennies maybe...the artists get a quarter maybe .50 of the sale price...who gets the rest...the 99% of the price...a record company that does very little or nothing. screw the record companies... winMX will find anything that is music.

I have not failed...I have just found 10,000 ways that don't work.
