The insane war on drugs has to stop. It never will, there is too much money in it for the government through heavy fines, imprisonement and even seizure of property and assets for these "victimless" crimes.
The illegalization of drugs actually cause more harm than if they legalized them. They force people to go underground and into seedy neighborhoods to purchase drugs that are mainly for thier own recreational use. Risking their own lives and the lives of loved ones. The laws feed and help create more crime in the drug business and gangs that would otherwise be out of business if we could set up clean, safe, pharmecutical style recreational drug stores. Just regulate it like you do alchohol and tax it.
Mankind has been using drugs for thousands of years. It is just in our nature to experiment and escape reality in a controlled environment and there is nothing wrong with that or feeling good.
Personally while I think all drugs should be legalized and regulated, I choose not to partake in heavy drugs like cocaine, heroine, etc. They are dangerous and unhealthy. And should only be used responsibly and in moderation. I do use marijuana now and then, just as someone would have a glass of wine after work to relax, etc. I am in my own house, not effecting any else's lives and doing no harm to anyone or myself. What is wrong with that? Nothing.
Meanwhile, you are encouraged to purchase and consume beer and alchohol everywhere you go which has the same or worse effects than some heavy drugs.
Again, there is too much money to be lost by the government in thier eyes to stop the war on drugs which by the way is unwinnable. What they dont seem to realize or just dont care about is that legalizing will not only bring money through taxation and regulation, but help society by reducing crime and creating a safer product for people to consume.

I consider alchohol an adictive substance, as well as cigarettes.
My father died from cancer because he smoked.

I also consider caffine an addictive substance, just because people cannot just stop (most of the time). I don't drink coffee anymore, and I drink mainly caffine free diet pepsi/cola.

ANyways, the "allowed addictive subtstances" which you can buy legally don't have any immediate health dangers, only overitme from long exposure do they have any (Caffinee is more harmless than the others but I don't like it because it's addictive for that reason only)

However, maijuana can sometimes have impurities and overly pure and can kill the first time you use it.

:freak:

Impurities come from manufactured drugs.

As pointed out earlier, there has never been a case of someone OD'ing from pot.

WOW, now that has to b the most extensive research on 4:20. I agree, Mary J should only b used regularly by those peep who need it due to a disability, or other health problem. Recreational use is still safer than alcohol in my opinion, as in, a weedhead can smoke a doob and perform most tasks, driving, work, rather easily, while a drunk cant do much if he is wasted on alcohol, unless his tolerance is high. Its really about the tolerance of the individual, and how the drug, YES alcohol, caffeine, and tobacco are drugs, affects each person. So one guy may get lazy on herb, and another gets in a zone, more motivated to accomplish the task at hand, and another may get slobbering drunk on a six pack, while the next guy has a tolerance and can still perform tasks easily, as he is not intoxicated to the extent of the other guy. In the land of the free, all people should have the right to experience any mood altering substance, as long as it is done in the privacy of their own home, and they arent influencing others, such as children, to participate in drug use.
