Look at the screen shots in that review! It looks EXACTLY like windows XP! Jus ta differnt system clock and colors. o_O

im gunna put in some form of linux as a dual boot eventually, but as of now i cant decide what i want to put in, so many choices.

i have an old laptop running 98. its a piece but i think that it could run a basic linux setup pretty well.

I personally love my linux desktop. I run a copy or Redhat and gentoo on another box, and absolutely love them both. I should take some screenshots of the GUI I have setup in linux and let you drool. =p

No they don't. They always look differnt enough for me to tell the differnce. I've used Linux at home (RH9) and I use Linux at work (sometimes, slackware9).

RH9 used gnome, which was obviously not windows. And SL9 uses KDE which I have setup for the windows like interface, but it STILL doesn't look much like XP.

If they wern't telling me it wasn't XP I probably would have thought it was XP.

You can tell the difference because you know, but I can install Themes on my XP machine and someone who does not know any better would think I am not running Windows.
