Look at the screen shots in that review! It looks EXACTLY like windows XP! Jus ta differnt system clock and colors. o_O

im gunna put in some form of linux as a dual boot eventually, but as of now i cant decide what i want to put in, so many choices.

i have an old laptop running 98. its a piece but i think that it could run a basic linux setup pretty well.

Most Linux GUIs look like Windows....

No they don't. They always look differnt enough for me to tell the differnce. I've used Linux at home (RH9) and I use Linux at work (sometimes, slackware9).Originally posted by MMmmGood

RH9 used gnome, which was obviously not windows. And SL9 uses KDE which I have setup for the windows like interface, but it STILL doesn't look much like XP.
If they wern't telling me it wasn't XP I probably would have thought it was XP.

You can tell the difference because you know, but I can install Themes on my XP machine and someone who does not know any better would think I am not running Windows.
