Mozilla FireFox Question

Postby Mr. Slayer » Wed Mar 09, 2005 10:20 pm

Question-

When I am on the ECGN Website trying to make a post, the message box in which you write the post text in (the one I'm writing in right now) appears very small. Maybe about half as small as it does in Internet Explorer. Anyone have this problem too or know how to fix it?

Thanks for the help,

Thats a new one in my book. Maybe you need a clean install, re- formatt?

I just did one, and for the people who wait a year to 6 months before doing so..... good luck. If it has been that long and your are running brand new still, then GREAT.

i've had too many issues with mozilla regarding forms not working correctly, certain graphics or mouse roll-overs not appearing so I uninstalled Mozilla firefox. Was just a pain in the ass. It's a shame too, i really liked the browser. Just too many compatability issues.

I still use Netscape 7.2, refuse to use Exploder.

The only thing I liked better about FireFox was Bookmarks, which was similar to IE.

I rarely have problems with forms etc. with NS.

i use it and like it a lot, but often I have to open a page in IE when forms and things don't work well. I don't know the problem that you describe though Slayer. Sorry.

Ok then, thanks for your help guys. I've heard enough, I guess it's down the dumpster with FireFox.

ive been using firefox for about a year and the text box is just one of those things that happens to be a bit odd
it is about half the size as it would be using ie but i dont see where that makes much of a difference.

well i guess microsoft is going to change their mind about updating their browser, they are going to see that they still have a stranglehold on the market and leave ie just the way it is. Pity.

The text box size is based on the Text size you have your firefox browser set to. If you want the box bigger just increase the text size. I still feel that Firefox is a better browser over IE.
