Scratched CD fixes?

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Perhaps, but scratching the label on a CD-R will still result in ruining the data. Take a look at the pictures below:

I believe the new LightScribe discs by HP are a little more resistant to this type of damage since the laser is used to burn the label on the disc too.
