There is nothing really bad to say about a guy who spent his whole life trying to help people. It defintely is a sad day however, he has a legacy that only will be surpassed by a very few.
There is a quote from an O'brien book that i love and its:
"what a fascinating modern age we live in"
The last 100 years marked a stunning advancement in our technology and ways of life but his nature was of basic compassion and love that it transcended every selfish desire of catholics and many non-catholics and it affected so many people around the world. You can only find that in a very special person. May he rest in peace, he definitely deserves it.
