from what i have been told, if you were to build a new pc, it would be wise to make it PCI Express.

PCI express has a bandwith of 4ghz while AGP has only 2ghz. The only problem is that games haven't even top out a AGP. I would rather buy a AGP and save some $$$$. In the long run PCI express will probably own unless they come out with something faster. Who really wants to waste that kind of money on a X850XT PE when all you really have to do is oc a X800 pro or X800XT to reach those speeds.
