Van Gogh Killer Confesses. Sick

Mohammed Bouyeri stunned the courtroom when, in the final minutes of his two-day trial he declared: ``If I were released and would have the chance to do it again ... I would do exactly the same thing.''

``What moved me to do what I did was purely my faith. ... I was motivated by the law that commands me to cut off the head of anyone who insults Allah and his prophet,'' he said.

At one point, he addressed the victim's mother, Anneke, who was sitting in the public gallery. ``I have to admit I don't have any sympathy for you,'' he said. ``I can't feel for you because I think you're a nonbeliever.''
"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." ... Benjamin Franklin

These religious extremists who use their "faith" as a justification for murder or persecution of others are one of the true evils of the world. What people in this country don't like to admit is there are plenty of Christians preaching hate too.

Or even better (and more realistic) is the look on thier faces when all they see is the dirt covering thier body.

Remember Jeffrey Dahmer <spelling? the canibal? dispite his isolation in the clink, he managed to get beat to death with a 10lb weight after a very short stay

Ol' Jeffery asked to be put into general population, knowing full well bad mf'ers like him don't last long there. As to the 'faith' motivated killer above, look at human history for the past, oh few thousand years. Christians kill Jews, Jews kill Muslims, Muslims kill Christians, Catholics kill Protestants or any other combination of Religion A kills Religion B.........we never learn.

Roger that.
Religion is the single most cause of war, death and atrocities in human history.
Very ironic.
