Logitech MX 518 gaming mouse.

Have you ever been frustrated with your mouse sensitivity settings. What works fine for infantry mode just sucks when you get into a tank or apc. Like most of you I set my DPI to make game play as infantry play best, since that is what we do most of the time, but then to get into a tank/apc only to have some SpecOp turd head tatoo your butt with two C4 expacks and give you an anal reaming while your still trying to crank that damn turret around to cover your ass. Well have you, Bunky!

Well lo and behold the Logitech MX518 mouse which has "on-the-fly" DPI mouse sensitivity capability. It comes preset with 400, 800 and 1600 DPI built in. This may work fine, but would possibly like the ability to set my own DPI settings. Anyway I just got this today and will install tomorrow and play a little bit to see how it works. May turn out to be a $40 lemon, or maybe just what I was looking for. :)

I will let y'all know hopefully by Sunday.

or you could just change the sensitivity in the options... there are different options for vehicle, helicopter, and airplanes... and also one for infantry

All the good tankers have their tank sensativity maxxed out. :P

With it so high you get hit by the maximum turret turn limit, you can tell because the turret makes a loud WHIRRRRRRRR

That thing is too heavy (IMHO). I use a $14.95 basic Logitech infared mouse. I found less is more with mice.

Okay guy's, used the MX518 for two days now and in my opinion this is a pretty good mouse. It works pretty much as advertised. The big draw was the change mouse sensitivity/DPI settings on the fly and that works well. In addition, after I installed the software, I found you can change the default DPI settings and add two more for a total of 5 presets if you want. The mouse also has another interesting feature, the scroll wheel is also depress-able and works like a button when depressed. Can be programmed for various functions. I later found out this is not new with the MX518 as my other Logitech mice also have this feature. Anyway it works as good as my other gaming mouse MX510 and has DPI on the fly.

I have no problems recommending this product if you are in the market for a new mouse.

pressable scroll wheel=middle mouse button. My turret turns fine, i just messed with the sensitivity in the options menu. i have a $25 or so GE mouse from best buy, it's got the 2 side buttons that work great for lotsa shit and it feels good and snug in my hand. oh yeah and it's hard-wired so no dead batteries and i won't sling it across the room in my fits of anger :)

i learned about the adjustable sensitivity while using a tiger in fh the other day
you can set them individually and that works for me as i can choose a setting for each and not worry about buttons
that would be a nice mouse for switching from word to photoshop to solitare though L)
