Raid drivers

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Raid drivers

Hey all - trying to install 2 new drives on my new machine in raid0 but damned asus didnt include a raid driver floppy. Ive tried creating one but its just not working. When i try to use it in windows it doesnt get detected. Any ideas??

not following here..

you have a mb with onboard raid, and don't have the provided drivers.

i am presuming your system is up and running from a drive that is not on this raid, and you are trying to add this raid to your already existing system, but you cannot seem to get the raid controller recognized/detected due to drivers.

ASUS' website didn't help any? They are the ones who are going to have the proper drivers.

If that doesn't work, winXP Pro can use software raid. And raid 0 has nearly no overhead....
