Amazing, but also amazingly stupid. No rope, he's taking a crazy chance of falling to his death. Life is too precious to lose it like that.

Live life how you want, you never know when or how you will die. When its your turn to go, it will happen no matter where you are and what you are doing.

Just like that lady that was working in her flowerbed and got killed by a tire that came off a truck going down the road.

I agree with living a fulfilling life, and that you never know when death will come. I have no problem with people who climb mountains, skydive etc. But those people usually take basic precautions. Just my humble opinion, but climbing without the rope doesn't really add much to the experience other than making it so much more dangerous. I believe we have someone on these boards who is an EMT or doctor or something, and sees young people coming in from car accidents and dying on a regular basis. I'm sure those people ( the ones who were hotrodding around or drinking while driving) felt very alive before things went wrong. And I'm equally sure that every one of them that was conscious at death was terrified and would have traded all the world for one more minute of life. Sorry to be downer, honestly. Just my point of view regarding a sane balance between living a fulfilling life and basic safety. Sometimes you have to compromise a little.
Hey, whoever it was on these boards who is a doctor or EMT or whatever, chime in and get my back on this one! ;)
