New Rig

I haven't played BF2 because my comp took a major shit, new job, no time working 60+ hours a week, etc. But it is fall, and staying inside will be happening all weekday with the weather in Ohio, so might as well up the ante and spend some cash on a new rig.

Well, just ordered my new rig:

E6300 which should over clock to E6600 speeds.

Asus P5B to tide me over until the new Nvidia chipset is out for proper SLI support.

2 Gigs of DDR2 800

550W PSU Antec TruePower

Artic Freezer Pro for the CPU.

NVidia 7950GT(will get a second one for SLI once better boards are out).

Add in the parts I still have and it should be a rather kick butt rig. Hopefully it is here by Friday, maybe Thursday.

Looks like my old one is going to become a RAID 5 music server and I will get a Squeeze Box.

Know what sucks? LOST MY BF2 BOOKLET'S SO NO CD KEY ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you still have BF2 installed on your rig there should be a way to retrieve the CD key. It should be hidden somewhere in the registry. I am not sure where but I have always been able to get HL2 and those type CD keys from there.

BTW nice rig, I have been on my wife about letting me upgrade for 6 months. She told me last night that sometime after the first of the year.

Casn't get it, when I was trying to figure out what was up with my old box, I formatted my HD and when I went to reinstall BF2 and SF I had the discs but not booklets. I even had the freaking boxes!

Think the cleaning lady must have tossed them for me.

Stoopid cleaning lady...though she does get that crusty stuff off my keayboard, mouse, the front of my pants and my underwear.

Sorry, not my mommy.

I ordered with newegg right after their time frame for shippign that day.

Well, I get all of it tomorrow except the motherboard, CPU and ram, those come Friday as they did not ship until today.

This is why I did it all 2nd day air, didn't want to wait until Monday for it to come in.

Does it matter if she is hot. If you are single and your cleaning lady is simply doable then by all means you need to allow her to clean what ever she wants. I dont know that Jimmy is single just stating my opinion.

Have you registered with EA? If you register under your EA account, they keep all the reg codes in your profile.

I lost my GF's Sims 2 book and I managed to get it off the EA profile site.
