Wow that was nutz. One or two of them were damn near 45 degrees from center of runway. I wonder if the 777 has pivoting landing gear. I know the B52 does. Not sure about commercial jets.

Ya those are kinda tricky. But they are fun to do for the first time. Tony, not very many if any commercial airliners have that feature. Some of those shots are when the 777 was in test flight stage. Saw one were they went up-side-down in a loop. Really cool to see. All they are doing is pointing the nose into the wind and giving it opposite rudder. Have to be really careful as it puts enormus stress to that one tire(s).

Yeah i thought i notice the gear turning, and that last plane was like almost sideways that was nuts! Also it seems like it would be quite a ride being on that bad boy landing sideways! lol

I have yet to see an airliner do that in person but still those are nice landings.
