Because he thought it would make him cool, liek what those kids did with the xbox 360.

They drove by the lines of people waiting with someone hanging out the window with an xbox 360 retail box then 'accidentally' drop it. Of course the box is empty the whole time.

This guy decided he would trump them. To do it, he came up with the brilliant idea to dress in a typical halloween pimp costume and to wait in line for a PS3. When it came his turn, he actually paid $600 for it then promptly smashed it with a hammer in front of a crowd.

So let's see, he accomplished dressing in a cheap, typical halloween pimp costume, spent $600 on a PS3 after waiting in line for one and then smashed it.

Obviously he's cool.

I think this is hilarious. All those people about to cry. A bunch of morons who don't know how to build a computer and have to buy a ps3 ie "computer". standing in the cold rain. Some of the hate mail they have gotten is funny too.
