I believe that this "relic" is amazing... or at least the idea that scientists say it's for telling the cycles of the lunar calander. I men back in the day they didn't have all the distractions we assocaite with the present. So what did they do with their spare time...... watch the stars, for thousands of years your very ancestors wondered what made the world tick and this device is IMO a way for them to understand that question.
