I've hit some crazy fast speeds in my rally car, but never close to 200mph, let alone 253. Wow.

I understand that the very nature of the car demands a certain limit to it's external design, but be real - that car is as ugly as they come.
That being said, that's a great video. Going fast isn't as easy as people might think. The guy said the tires would last 15 minutes at that speed....which matttered not because the fuel would only last for 12 minutes *edited*.
I read a story in Road and Track years ago where a journalist blew a right front tire in a Callaway Corvette at 180-mph...and lived to tell the story. Scary stuff.

lol it was 12 minutes not seconds. And that's long enough to go 50 miles
