is there a cord that can connect my laptop to my tv so whatever is on my laptop screen to my tv? its a older tv so it would have to be through those yellow red white cords if anything...thanks

Depends, a lot of laptops have at minimum a VGA port on the back, if so they do make a VGA to RCA jack cable (the red, white, yellow type cable)

I have no idea what the red and white jacks are doing on this cable, but the yellow would be video.

If you see just a single yellow jack on the back of your laptops, it's probably a video out--some laptops have these, or even an s-video port--a small round port with four prongs inside.

Cav that is red blue green for a HDTV from a VGA connection! not to be used with Doc's old TV.

search for a VGA to composite cable.

that looks like what you want. it is either S-Video or Composite depending which you want to use. No audio.
