Starcraft 2 to be announced!

This is the no-brainer of the year. IMHO these guys are idiots for passing up easy cash for the last 5-6 years. Shine up the graphics a bit (3D and such), add new race, add a few units/powers to existing races, tweak the AI a bit if they think of anything, build a couple of maps--boom, instant top ten game, plus add-ons later. Basically just mod the original. SC has remained a pretty popular game for soooo long, I still can't believe they left it dormant all this time. Yeah, WOW is doing well for them, but it's about time they picked up this no brainer project! :)

sounds like they have the right idea too, I was afraid they would change it to be more like Warcraft III, less units, more special powers. Nope, they understand we like to mass up hordes of fairly self sufficient troops. Nothing like 6-7 siege tanks and a couple of bunkers set up in a great spot, just watching them unload! :)
