He bought a generator to keep his fridges on but as of yet still has power. He is in Chula Vista and is a couple miles away from the evac area so he is staying for now.

they keep building them and they keep burning them.. it just dont make sense to me... if all those houses burnt to ashes they would all be re built in 2 or 3 months tops..
you would think an effort could be made to keep the underbrush in check, and make a few fire stops... like a gravel road.. this would help contain these fires. It seems this happens more often than we get good snows in richmond
