Neat little SWG trick.
You may or may not know this but if you ALT+TAB out of the game you can keep doing whatever it is you were doing in the game without going AFK.
Right now as I type this my character is surveying and extracting minerals. You can hear the sound in the background so you can sort of stay posted on whats going on around you.

You can't spell St!nkf!nger without st!nk (now with stats to prove it!)

I'm addicted to it (when I can be). There's so much to to there's almost too much to do. There's tons of career tracks, I'm an artisan/surveyor, I almost never fight and I love it.
The battles are kind of clunky, but not overly so. If you have a beast of a machine it looks absolutely stunning. I've played a bunch of other MMORPGs, but I have to say that this is my favorite so far.
Is it worth purchasing? I'd have to say yes.

agreed...buy it! More addicting than BF....
I can't yet bring myself to pay monthly for a game I had to pay for at the store.
SWG sounds like it may become an exception.
Soon most games may be MMORP and pay-to-play...and I think if they gave the software for free they may generate many more customers

Here here. I don't think I've been on Server #1 in a week or so. I also got Knights of the Old Republic which rocks just as hard. Goddam those folks over at Lucasarts.

Alright im getting SWG within the hour! better be worth my 50 bucks, and the first month better be free.
Ive been reading up on SWG and it seems lame how there will be so few jedis... and how there isnt a proven way to become a jedi. Although it makes sense being loyal to the movie with few jedis. O well if the game is good enough ill be a jedi eventually i dont care how many months it takes. Although if the server population starts dying then there may be an exception.
When i become a jedi ill be sure to post everything i did... lol, im exaggerating again... must.... stop...
