Possibly... but if it is fixed, it is done artfully so...

Personally, I think there is more money involved in the non-wagering side for the parties involved that precludes them from changing the outcomes purposely.

Take the Bucs for example... merchandising alone for their stuff has to be more than ten winning vegas man-size bets... not to mention the national prestige that goes with winning... for a lot of these owners, that's what it's really about... their team is just a "hobby" of sorts compared with what they really make their money on... (Paul Allen, anyone?)

Now boxing? THAT is fixed sometimes for sure... it's just too bad they can't fix the fixers

true all that....its not so much as the outcome of the whole game is fixed its the little things......
you can bet on every aspect of a pro football game....from first downs to who wins the coin toss...it would be pretty difficult to fix who wins or loses but i have seen too many time when something will happen in the last minute of a game something stoopid will happen and blow the spread or the over/under and swing the bet the opposite way....for no reason at all other than a fluke.

NASCAR is most definitely fixed now that it is on the Vegas board...imo....
I was at the Daytona race that Earnhardt won and no way he was gonna win that race...he didnt have the car....and Mayfield was all over him....had run up beside him...and then all of a sudden...someone that is going to finish in the bottom 10 positions has motor problems with 2 laps left....cough-bullshit-cough
it happens all the time now races finish under caution when they are subject to change had there not been a caution.
its tought for me to watch NASCAR anymore the races are always such letdowns at the end

Looks like I missed out on a helluva 4th quarter...

I have always thought Dungy was a class act, and I am a big fan of his (in part because of his class). I am glad to see he and the Colts stick it to (wait for it) the Glazers. And still afterwards Dungy was all class afterwards. Would be exceptional to see the Colts go all the way this year. Not that I am colts fan.

How about dem 'Boys?!?! Now they have to play some real teams though...
