Are you kidding me? The reason that cop killers get such long sentances is because if they can kill a cop then they would not worry about killing an average citizen like you or me.( Mad Dogs) What do u do with a rabid dog that bites a human? You kill his ass..... If you are willing to shoot the president then you are a total treat and it should only take a 25 cent bullet to take care of him. We did not do that so he should never walk the streets again for only the cost of 50,000 a year. Oh yeah, I forgot we should let everyone go free because they have been Re-Habed.
