When I worked at Microsoft HQ, people were always doing stuff like this. There was one guy that was transfered from Florida, and when he got to his new office there was foot of sand covering the floor and palm trees :)

We once filled (to the top) a person's cube with those foam shipping peanuts. We put shrink wrap across the doorway to form the complete cube.
