For those using the GAMESNET IRC NETWORK

GamesNET have changed their name, and merged with another IRC network. Now known as GameSurge.

To connect, using irc.gamesurge.net.. instead of the irc.gamesnet.net round robin.

UPDATE:

GamesNET.net has updated their site with the following:

Taken from GamesNET.net
Plaintiff Donald Wasylyna and the following defendants and cross complainants Gavin Roy, D. Seth Hunter, Jeff E. Perales, Jennifer Locicero, R. Brenton Strickler, Michael Poole and James Thomason -- have reached a settlement of the litigation pending between them. The settlement agreement is available here http://www.gamesnet.net/settlement.pdf. None of the parties admit liability as to any of the allegations.

The service currently provided at <gamesnet.net> is going to be migrated by Gavin Roy, D. Seth Hunter, Jeff E. Perales, Jennifer Locicero, R. Brenton Strickler, Michael Poole and James Thomason on 2/2/2004 to GameSurge.net. Donald Wasylyna is resuming control of the domain name <gamesnet.net>.

So they did indeed lose their lawsuit. If you read the .pdf file, you'll also see the defendant won $20,000 as well. Argh... I feel damn bad for GamesNET (known now as GameSurge now).. :(
