It seems like it's everywhere and certain people have loads of accounts to just throw away. Doesn't seem very Googlish.

When was the beta for this thing anyway? I would have signed up if I knew. My Outlook Express is ok but I was trying to get a new Email service somewhere else for my dad so he wouldn't tamper around with all my stuff and low and behold GMail. Yet it seems only those "in the know" have the opportunity to secure them.

Ah well. Looks like I'm not getting an account.

Outlook express is just a delivery / grabbing system.

Your actual email account is where outlook gets / sends mail.

Grab a free Yahoo account, or if you care enough, grab a GMail when available and just setup outlook to get your mail from whatever account of yours you wish.

Outlook is great and convenient. I use it with my yahoo account. Nice not having to log into yahoo.com everytime I want to get my email.

*edit*

Yes....its very weird that people would have so many accounts to throw around. Nice beta testing mongoloids :D

Yea, there is a program you can run in the background that allows Outlook to access your e-mail.. but I think its just easier to type in gmail.com and use their client...
