I'd buy you an exotic pet, like Llama or an Emu.

Sitting in my normal boring monday morning staff meeting I decided to come up with a semi detailed plan of how to spend a million if it was generously bestowed upon me. This is what I was thinking.

1,000,000
100,000 in each kids college fund

800,000 left
pay off the rest of the house and the truck - 100,000.

700,000 left.

Sell the house that is now paid off, throw an extra 300,000 on top of what I get to buy a monster house and pay cash for it so I would still have no mortgage payment.

400,000 left.

60,000 for an H2 that I would mega pimp out so were probably looking at about 100,000 for the h2. The wife likes vettes so she can have a vette, probably about 70,000 for the vette cuz I would want to throw some mods on it too.

230,000 left

say 80,000 for mega entertainment centers for the new house (flat screens on the shitter!!)

150,000 left

Tons of toys for the new house, arcade games downstairs, pool table, golf simulator, plus furniture would about do it for the rest of the million.

If I had an extra 10 grand I would take a kick ass cruise and stay in a suite.

What would you do?

I'd inform my employer that I no longer worked here by leaving a steaming pile on my keyboard.

Since this seems to be with the assumption of no taxes:

Pay off the debt: $wouldn't you like to know :)

I'd take about 5k and get a really good gaming PC. 10k for mods to the house and various gifts for my wife. I'd likely invest the rest, over a broad range of companies, with an eye towards future tech, i.e. bio-chips etc.

I would move to where a monster house only costs $400,000. Hey, I'm from Central NJ. $400,000 will only get you something in "move in condition".
