Stuff like this doesn't usually happen near me, but it'd fun to go to. The kid's gonna be disappointed if he really thinks Doom 3 is the future though :)

umm......cyber "athletes"? lol

As much as I love gaming and LAN parties, I wouldn't call playing a computer game an athletic sport.

TWL= Team warefare leage

If the room is hot and you start to sweat from all that typing and clicking, I'd consider it a sport. ;)

Graphics isn't everything, sometimes simple gameplay is all it takes. CS proved that.

I know graphics arn't everything, but there are much better games out IMO. RtCW is one of them.

that seems pretty cool...the biggest LAN i've ever been in was a 15 person one at Mech-zone..Our local gaming place...IT was good fun.. Playin BF nam' for about 8 hours straight..but there were no free things..drinks were a buck, but atleast little Ceasers is right next door..bang on the wall twice for a large cheese pizza..mmm...I can't wait till this weekend..i'm entering a HALO x-box comp. and then i plan on playin a few hours of BF nam'
