Those are some great pics, Mugzy!

You are one lucky chap to have such a great airshow so close to town. :)

Is that Harry Canyon in the C-47? It looks like he is waving people by his slow ace plane, or is he giving the 1 finger salute to a younger guy with a faster plane that cut him off.:P :P

Nice. WWII planes are so beautiful compared to modern ones.

Went to the 20th annual Wings over Houston airshow a few weeks back. The Tora Tora re-enactment was real impressive which featured simulated bombing runs followed by controlled explosions. Not very often do you see over 20 WWII planes in the air at once flying in close proximity. The Thunderbirds were awesome along with a B-2 stealth bomber fly-over.

If your wondering how I was able to capture the F-18 with a vapor cone forming around it as it passes the sound barrier......a little luck and a great camera helps. :D

Man those are great shots- breaking the sound barrier- wow. What kind of bird is that devil dog? Looks like a B-25. Got enought 50. cal in the front end.

I like that Tarheel Hal p-47 one of my faves.
