NFL week 5!
Wtf is going on with my panthers, they starting to really piss me off. So many injuries
so much potential but they just cant seem to get it going. Defense is looking horrible too - i will go cry now....
Looking to next week - i hope seattle pounds on the pats.

I felt bad for the 'phins though, They really played hard, a lot of big hits.
Patriots continue do what they do best, opportunistic football and big plays at key moments. Make one mistake and they shove it up your keister with a birthday candle on it. Add to that they always seem to have some unknown player jump out and make a big play.
Patriots are going to have to play better to even think of beating the seahawks though.
BTW, how about that kid Welker doing the Dolphin's kicking, including a 29 yd fieldgoal? That kid only kicked one extra point in College (blocked) and some kicking in high school. Undrafted free agent, decent kick returner....should be crowd favorite.
Great stuff.

pats were without there 2 starting recievers and the 4th reciever...they couldnt do any 4 or 5 reciever sets..thats what killed them...playing a rookie in pk sam...and kasper??? common now..Also without a starting cornerback..if u dont have all ur weapons just give it to dillion. he had a good day as did patrick pass....miami played tough..there d will always keep them marginally close...they will begin to wear down sooner or later.
Now that the colts bitched and complained about their recievers being man handled....u just look at one off the line of scrimmage and they throw a flag...ill give them credit that alot of their touchdowns are produced off of the play action pass..but there is no bigger cry baby in the nfl then peyton manning.

The Panthers are a flash in the pan, and they've had their 15 minutes. Delohme is a media-darling. Although they're well coached, I think anyone that expected them to repeat last years' performance must also believe in Santa Claus.
Seahawks look dominant, and Payton Manning is at the head of the scariest offense in the league right now...too bad the Colts mortgaged their future for this guy.
I'm a Pats guy; I love their team effort, I love their attitude (Team above all) but they're bound to lose eventually...and there's always the odd injury that could turn their fortunes around in an instant.
P.S. Payton Manning's classic hands-up in the air look of despair will follow him through-out his career. Evertime this guy plays the Patriots I seem him, head in hands, squatting on the field in disbelief.
"Yeah, Payton, teams ARE allowed to stop you."

I have to say I felt bad for my Dolphins too. After last season everybody thought they were going to a serious contender, but all of that is gone with their offense. Didn't they score their first touchdown of the season today?
Not too sure.
I do have to tip my hat to Welker though, that kid was awesome.

Yeah those Seahacks (cough cough) don't look so hot now.
How about that Ben Roethlisberger? (I even spelled it right!) You think the Chargers are looking at Rivers and the Giants at Manning and going "Um...uh..."
Speaking of the Giants WTH!? Went into Dallas and opened a can! I thought that game was a gimme for Dallas. I guess Coughlin and his stupid rules the players are complaining about actually DO work.
Speaking of Texas football the Texans lost to my Vikings in a game I thought for sure Minnesota was going to give up. Perfect 1st half and a crap 2nd half but wins in OT.
Mewelde Moore comes in and goes for 92 on the ground and 90 in the air. He's the FOURTH STRING RB for Minnesota. Move over Denver, Minnesota is now the De Facto RB factory. Bennett out with his knee (#1), O Smith out on his 4 game suspension (#2) Moe Williams out with a bruised calf (#3) and we still get almost 100 in both running and passing with a rookie who has had 1! count it 1! carry so far in the NFL that we picked in the fourth round.
This just in! Tampa looking to trade for a Manning because they want all of their QB's to be sons of former NFL QB's! Simms knocked out, Griese comes in and wins? New Orleans is the choke team everyone thought they would be. All that talent and no discipline or drive.
And some kudos to San Diego! Yep thats right the San Diego SUPERChargers! This is definitly NOT the chargers team of the past decade. Backup to LT comes in and does that good?
Two teams I thought were going to stink up the field this year because of poor O line play were San Diego and NY Giants. Boy have they proven me wrong.
No mention about the Patriots from me though. I guess I am the anti bandwagon fan. I was a big Pats fan before they won their first Superbowl but don't care for them much since then. I was up in Mass. and New Hampshire working when they made it the first time and I thought the Packers had the lock on insufferable arrogant rude jerkoffs for fans! Congrats New England you beat them! In the fans part that is you still lost a Superbowl to GB:D
That team was part dog and part halfway decent for many years and to talk so much shit now that they finally have a taste smacks of hubris. Hey be happy! Your team is doing good but it aint all that. The players know that. I wish the fans did. Excellent sound bite from Brady in an after the game interview when asked about the 19 game streak. "Yeah its great and all but I don't see how thats going to help us beat Seattle next week" Now that is a TEAM which has good coaching.
I was going to close talking about Arizona and San Francisco but even I don't care... I guess someone had to win.... right? I guess I'll see it later on Sportscenter.

Seahawks lost their head in the 4th quarter. They had the game clinched, but they blew it with tons of horrible plays.
I still think they'll do great this season, but it would have been nice to have our first 4-0 season ever.
You gotta give the Rams credit for not rolling over and dying. LOL, we thought they were going to lose all week.
