Damn neck-car.... thanks to that no work is being done on my house this weekend. All the construction dudes started loading up on beer and meat mid-week for the jaunt over to Daytona. Uuuuuuugggghhhh.

Hey Ice,

Just wondering what work you are having done on your house?

My husband and I bought our first home together last year and it needed loads of renovation work done. It's taken us a whole year to re-decorate it throughout. We've both had to learn how to plaster, how to wallpaper, build partition walls, build new ceilings and floors, fit a whole new bathroom then paint and decorate. Our next project is to restore the garden.

It's been a really hard slog, we saved quite a bit of money not having the proffessionals in but the payback was we lost loads of free time.

So when I hear about people having things done to their houses it interests me....or maybe I'm being nosey....I don't know......

Hey Giggs....., we've added 3 bedrooms and a bath with a detached garage. Should be done next week, taken 6 months. Looking forward to completion.
