Sad goodbye... I'm going AWOL

Postby El Snipo » Sat May 28, 2005 8:14 pm

Guys, just wanted to give you a heads up. July 1st (give or take a week... not sure yet) I will be leaving for Marine Corps boot camp. thats 13 weeks, then I get 10 days of leave to come talk to you guys! yay, then 9 weeks of other various training, all in all I'll be back for good by Christmas, as I am only going reserve.

When I come back I will be a transformed man! meaning much better at wolf, ET, and BF:V (which no one will be playing anymore by that point! argh!).

Well it's been real, and I promise that I will return.

I hope you'll have fun. Also you might want to consider getting BF2 when it comes out. Don't make the mistake like you did with BFV. Good luck!

I just curious and puzzled. If you're goin into the Marine Corps reserve, whats with the Air Force logo in your sig. :freak:

Good luck man....thats all I'll tell you, cause I wouldnt want to tell you to have fun and enjoy it because you most likely won't. And if I did tell you to have fun I'd start sounding like your recruiter ;). The next time you talk to us on here after basics we'll just be civillians to you. :)

Thanks again so much guys!

Yeah, in the marine corps it's different, it's Ooh Rah.

I can't wait till I'm trained on "friendly fire" (wink wink) against my British friends.

And haha, I won't get beaten with soap in a sock... I hope not! hopefully I'll administering those parties, lol.

I'll make sure when I get back I let you guys know how everything went and hopefully I'll be a lot better at games! and hockey! and hell, football! :P
