Sounds nuts!
I believe it though, anytime people get panicked and there is a disaster this can happen, in any city, anywhere.

I get the impression that the authorities don't know what the hell is going to happen. Is the flooding over with, or is it getting worse? I keep seeing stuff about pumps and levies breaking. Are these people that are looting going to have a place to take their stuff considering they're probably going to have trouble getting food and clean water?

LeVar, these people have just lost their way of life, and they are worried about getting a free TV. LOL

What I was saying is where are the looters taking this stuff? What I meant by the food and water is that they're going to have to get help from the authorities. I think all the intelligent people got all their necessities and skipped town. I just don't understand the situation when you see all the water up to the rooftops and then you hear about people looting Wal-marts and whatnot. Are there any journalists there because I haven't seen pictures of looting or people walking around the streets.

There's always a certain group of people who just don't get the concept of society. I don't know how else to describe them. They go about their life when everything is normal, but reveal their true face at certain moments. The Hometeam wins/loses the Superbowl, World Series....and they're the ones that start lighting cars on fire, breaking into stores. Electricity fails, they start looting. Get them in a crowd where they can be anonymous, they start grouping together and beating people, groping women. The president should tell the Natl Guard to shoot looters if the items they're grabbing are not food, water, medicine.

Yeah, I see a popular item to loot was beer. Real smart. Whenever I'm uncertain about whether I'll have clean water I like to booze it up.

They need to show that stuff on CNN now, start preparing people for what is going to happen next. It will take weeks before people move back to the city. From now until then, these criminals are in a kind of paradise, no law, might makes right. They're armed, there roving around robbing, shooting and such. In other words, they're regressing back to cave man type of lifestyle. When the people come back, these people aren't going to willingly give up their paradise. There's going to be some serious shoot outs with police. It's obvious that many of them no longer respect the concept of authority anymore. People need to see how bad it is, so they're not shocked when the other shoe drops.

i saw a clip earlier today and this cop had a shotgun.. was pointing it right in the faces of some looters and saying "drop it!". It was great. Needless to say they dropped them but they were all reluctant.. like a kid caught stealing another's toy and has to give it back.. LOL What a bunch of losers!!

Reminds me of during the LA riots how the shop owners sat on their roofs and blew away looters to protect their shop.
