Disney World
The wife and I have decided to go to Disney world in the fall. I was just wondering if any of you guys have been lately and what advice you might have.
We will be there for seven days and here is what is planned right now:
1 Day swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove
1 Day Sea World (Is this an all day deal?)
2 Days at Universal's two parks
3 Days at Disney Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and MGM
I guess what I am looking for is how much time can be spent at each and if there are any of these to stay away from. Like is the magic kingdom fun for adults? We dont have any kids so it is just going to be She and I.

Hmmm...Epcot is a pretty cool place to go to relax...more of a layed back envoronment i guess...MGM is cool it has a roaler coaster and the tower of terror that is pretty cool....the roaler coaster is with that one rock star guy...called rockin and rollen rollar coaster...those are pretty cool....if you have the passes that let you go anywhere in disney it would prolly be worth it to go to a water park since they were very cool when i went 2 years ago...I'm not real sure whats really cool...
If you have been to six flags or cedar point there really isnt any roaler coasters if your into them at disney world....
not much info from me...maybe look some stuff up if you already havnt about what is there to do...

Not enough unless you only go to the major attractions.
Looks to me like 7 jam-packed days, you'll need another week to recover from that vacation. Your feet will catch fire. Try taking some time to just sit down and relax at nice spots.

WARNING: Super long post! Read only if you're interested in Disney info.
Well, I've been to DisneyWorld more times than I care to admit. More importantly, I just got back from a weekend trip there (got there Friday morning, just got back home a little bit ago on Sunday night).
I always suggest to people to spend at least 4 days in Disney if you've never been, one for each of the kingdoms: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, the Studios, and Animal Kingdom. But, if you're pressed for time (as I was this weekend), then here are some ideas on things to hit up...
Magic Kingdom: Pirates of the Caribbean (just underwent a major overhaul to include segments involving the new movies), Haunted Mansion (never, ever skip this ride), Hall of Presidents (always very cool), and the three mountains -- Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain.
EPCOT: Test Track is cool, Mission Space is better and is hands down a must-see/must-experience (do NOT take the option for "no spin"), Soarin' is downright friggin' amazing (it's brand new this year). Definitely take a few hours to stroll around the World Showcase where you can go from country to country. Can be arduous if you don't have a plan, so make plans to eat and drink (definitely) your way around the countries.
Disney/MGM Studios: don't even consider skipping out on the Rock n Roller Coaster (0-60 in something like 2.5 seconds) and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (a randomized freefall ride). There's also a pretty cool stunt show with lots of mini cars. Star Tours is fun if you're a Star Wars fan, but otherwise may not be your bag. Indiana Jones stunt show is also a lot of fun.
Animal Kingdom: the most underrated park of all of them should never be skipped, especially with their newest ride called Expedition Everest. I can't tell you much about it as it will ruin it, but you'll kick yourself in the head if you skip it. Also, do the safari -- you ride around in trucks (not on rails) through a park loaded with real animals from Africa (tip: go first thing in the morning... later in the day, the animals like to sleep and you'll miss most of them).
I could go on and on... and I apologize for making this as long as it already is, but those are the key things you'll want to do. If you plan right, you can hit two of the parks in one day and hit all the major attractions (if you do this, plan it for Animal Kingdom in the morning and Disney Studios in the afternoon/evening).
If you are spending any time at night there, do NOT miss the opportunity to go to Pleasure Island if you like to drink. The two best bars there are the Adventurers Club and Raglan Road.
If you want more in-depth tips or whatever, feel free to PM me.

my girlfriend worked at disney world for a summer. she is a disney freak. she took me there for 7 days and we did everything. seriously. everything. every ride, every show. at least it felt that way. my feet never hurt so much in my life. we walked and stood in rain storms. no ducking into stores for us. and she knew everything about every ride and every show. like where all the hidden mickeys were and where all the fire extinguishers were. just insane. anyways, i echo what was said above, but don't forget that one thing disney is famous for are the fireworks and laser light shows at the major parks at night. you don't want to miss the fireworks over Cindarella's castle at night in the magic kingom. also, don't miss the tapestry of nations or whatever they call the night time show at Epcot. the floating barges on the Epcot lake have some pretty crazy pyrotechnics. there was a show on the history channel about them. and the show at MGM is cool too. MGM has a huge amphitheater that seats several thousand people. the neatest thing about the show is how they use streams of water to create a screen and they project images onto it. it's fantasia themed iirc, definitely a must-see for mickey fans. and then each park has mid-day parades of giant snowglobes and big crazy mummers parade like characters too. best thing to do is pick up a map and a schedule of events when you first get there. and bring comfortable shoes. i went to sea world in 1988. i don't remember anything about it. but i bet if you have an aquarium you've been to anywhere near where you live, then sea world is probably not worth your time. just guessing.

Practice is really goodddd!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went last year for basically the first since i was a child. I am going again this November with my fiance and her family. If you have never gone which was basically my situation since i didnt remember anything.. I suggest trying to hit everything. People will say it cant be done, but with good planning and good use of the park maps, it can.
I agree with most of what ender said above. We dont have kids so it was super easy to hit all the cool stuff without any delays, etc.
I suggest the World Showcase, Mission Space, Pleasure Island, Animal Kingdom and the Safari, all the major rides like Tower of Terror, Soarin', Spaceship Earth. The Presidents was definitely cool and even the classics like Small World were worth seeing at least once. I am looking forward to the Everest ride this year as it was still under construction last year.
There is really just so much to see. Just stay organized and plan your route each day and try to see it all.
