sure ive seen macross plus, but ive seen the 4-part ova series not the compressed movie version. original macross is where its at. that or macross7...hehe but if youve ever seen that you know im half joking. i never saw the animatrix, mainly because ive never seen the matrix. out of sight out of mind.

I did not like the animatrix...it wants to be something it's not and thats anime. THe Matrix(firsrt movie got some it's a ideas from anime like Ghost in the shell but thats about all the Matrix is as far as anime..don't buy you cann download some of them off the net) Oh BTW great site S.S I got a very cool pic there!:D

mmm, i remember when the matrix was first coming out and all the dorks were picking it apart for having similair situations to some other anime titles, so at the time i didnt think it was nescessary to go see it. i know thats not a good way to go about things. but hey, i saved a buck or two.

p.s. you going to anime expo new york this year?
i went last year and it sucked pretty bad, total corporate con.
but ill probably end up there again this year, i have little control over myself when it comes to this kind of stuff.

I'll get schooled in this thread because I am not an anime person, I just wanted to say I did like the animatrix. I liked it for the enourmous amount of story line in it. It goes with the 2 regular movies and accounts for atleast half the plot. not to mention the music rules. I don't care much for the anime part because maybe its just not ment for the matrix, but the content is very very good. I may have gotten into anime if I had time, but I look into lots of other things in my free time, and I don't like doing things half-assed, so I don't talk about anime cause my taste for it is badly underdeveloped.
