There are some villains from Doom2 in there too.

The hanging Commander Keen was a private joke from the id software developers. Getting back at the company (whose name I forget) who kinda stole their Commander Keen game.

The boss head is John Romero. By the time Doom 2 was finished all id employees wanted to kill him and anyway he soon split and started his own company, which was never successful.

Daikatana? wtf is that? :D

Doom is a kick ass game! I still have it on my old computer, YOU CAN FIT IN ON A DISK! I just find that humorous, can't fit many games on flopies anymore. I would have gotten some, all if i cheated :P

surely you could do that with the demo, but the retail game required 17 mbs for doom 2 and 14 mbs for doom, I mean Ultimate DOOM,
I have it installed too but I am using an special port that let you use a 3D accelator card featuring colored lightning, and dynamic lighting, 3D models using the quake 2 engine format (MD2) and what is better, fog and 1280 x 1024 of resolution!! I have played it both DOOM games, Final DOOM ( really difficult but better playable episodes) and almost +3000 levels for DOOM ( the Depths of doom trilogy is the shit):wall:
