I'm being recruited for a position in Denton, Texas.

Can anyone/everyone tell me about the area?

The positives/negatives, cost of living, etc.

How much is it to rent an apartment? Don't know if I want to sell my house right away, or at all.

Denton is a college town, does not seem like there is mutch to do there. But you can always drive south for ~45min and go to Dallas.

So many Texans.

I hate Texas everything about it I dislike, its hot and people say howdy ride bulls wear big boots and those damn hats ... and it's too close to Mexico for my comfort. Not to mention their football teams. :rotflmao:

But you are kinda close to Florida which again is hot and you get all those old people passing on thru to die and they dont care if they take you with them.

Plus those rape stats aren't right they prob take you out in the desert and violate you with cactuseseses then feed you to the scorpions and buzzards.
