NO NO NO

it's good to get out a light scratch so they say but it's very abrasive so you have to be very careful. I wouldn't recomend it

agreed. I used a whole slab of toothpaste with no problems :)

I found a light feathering with an acetalyne blow-torch on my X's cd's glazed those scratches right over.

Depends on the toothpaste. The gel kind with no crystals in it is ok, but the ones that have those abrasive crystals are not good.
