Top three (not in order)

Darth Vader
"I find your lack of faith disturbing"
"You have failed me for the last time.. Admiral"

The Kargon
Nun: "He died for our sins"
Kargon "And that shall be his undoing"

Whore "Hi... I'm Candy"
Kargon (evil leer) "Of course you are"

Thulsa Doom
"They shall all drown in lakes of their own blood'
"Contemplate this on the Tree of Woe"

Honorary mention to Hannibal Lector in Silence of the Lambs, Gollum, Hans Gruber, and Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin (I was suprised at how good he played the role and made it more than just a "blah blah" comic book villain)

Notice how two of my top three picks were done by James Earl Jones?

Torak - David Eddings 'The Belgariad'

Hugh the Hand & Haplo- Margret Weiss and Tracy Hickman's 'Death Gate Cycle'

The Reaper - Terry Brooks 'Elfstones of Shanarra'

And the man himself:

Rastilin - Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman's 'Dragonlance novels'

I am with you Slayer

What is this "book" that you speak of?:D

Jar Jar Binks... i know he wasn't a villan but i never knew of a Gungan that people banned together to hate.

I also hate that fucking house elf Dobby from the Harry Potter movies... the jar jar of that series.

I loved Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as Bartlby and Loki the fallen angels in Kevin Smith's Dogma... i think any flick that is not written by Kevin Smith that stars Affleck is dogshit. But in Smith movies he's gold.

Mall Security Gaurd La Fours... the most feared and respected mall security gaurd in the business. 400 collars, all convicted... i hear he even has 2 kills. (Mallrats)

Val Kilmer as Ice Man in Top Gun... bad ass flick, even though he was a good guy, you still had to hate his guts cuz he was against Mav and Goose

Michael Moore in Farenheit 9/11... i know its a documentry but apparently this guy is the devil.... you either hate him, or you really fucking hate him.

Thats all i can think of now

fav name of a villian in a movie has to be deniro's character in Angel Heart... Louis Cypher aka Lucifer

Francis from PeeWee's Big Adventure was one mean mo fo though...stealing a bike thats tied to a clown with 25 yards of chain is like pimpin...it aint easy

Good choices Rule. BTW you play a good villian in BF42 as well as Buli when I'm on the other team.

I'd have to say that Kevin Spacey was awesome in both The Usual Suspects and the movie Seven.

Bill The Butcher from The Gangs of New York.

Clarence Bodicker played by Kurtwood Smith in Robocop was terrific as a smart and sadistic drug dealer.

Denzel Washington in Training Day.

Al Pacino in The Recruit.

Ray "Bones" Barboni (Dennis Farina), Get Shorty

Rutger Huer in both The Hitcher and BladeRunner

Hey Britney, you dumb blonde. The thread was best movie villian! Start a thread on best book/literary villian ya smacker. BTW quit dancing around and let me shoot you!

Sweet Jebus! I thought I was the only person to have seen that movie. LOL!

My top 3:

Darth: - Coolest man ever to wear a respirator.

Khan - He made Kirk mad. Real mad. Mad enough to emote!

Scaramanga - An internationally feared assassin who has a gun made of gold, a midget, AND a flying AMC Matador? Not to mention his superfluous third nipple. Genius!

and for that special subcatgegory, "villain in a comedic role" I have a three way tie: Dr. Evil, Dark Helmet and The Black Knight, from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
