Pierce Brosnan has quit his role as James Bond 007

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

I'd love to see Sean Bean take over (Even though he was a baddie). Then again I think we could give Tim Dalton another crack at it!

"Eric is the guy they want but he has a reputation for being demanding. They want to modernize Bond and turn him into a youthful, suave and modern hero to compete with the likes of Spider-Man and Keanu Reeves in The Matrix." Bana is married to TV publicist Rebecca Gleeson and they have two children together - Klaus, five, and Sophia, two. "

I wanted a bond that was in his mid30/40's...:(

Oh well...:flame:

Yeah they need to keep the older Bond image and throw away the idea of going young. It will only turn away some old-timers who like Bond.

Agreed. It's funny that the article mentioned Keanu as 'youthful'. At 40, he's older than Bana :)

i say the next 007 needs to be Jan Michael Vincent. This guy deserves a new job. I can see it now....007 mixed with a little air wolf..who's with me.
