I'm 35 yrs old, I like to play the 'what if' game and imagine how I might have done things differently. Believe it or not, Electrician might have been the way to go. They are well paid, always in demand. Everything I learned in college about computer science I could have learned on my own. In fact, I often felt like college interrupted my education.
35 eh? Believe it or not, there are 5 people in my classes that are over 40 years old! One guy managed a footlocker before deciding to go back to school.
if you plan to retire at 65, you still have 30 years to work in whatever career you want. I talked to some of the older people in my class and they said they can't believe they're coming back to get a better education at their age, but they're doing it

I guess I'm just trying to say that it's never too late, even if it seems like it is.
If you could pursue another career besides computers, what would you want to do?
