I give the Rams credit, but the Seahawks are much better than they played in the 4th Q.

Very true. Grant Wistrom was an awesome pick up this off-season. If he wasn't going against Orlando Pace all game long, he woulda had a shitload of sacks.

Like most of the magazines and articles say... New England vs. Philadelpia in Jacksonville this winter. Can't wait. Philly looks damn good this year, but I am stressin' the Seahawks playin' the Pats this week.. gonna be a tough game for us.

Damn those SEAHAWKS they dominated that game, one thing we forgot though…The game is 4 quarters long. I think I saw the trainers packing up their gear at the start of the fourth quarter. I know the players were on the phone calling their babes’, because they obviously were not on the field. :wall:  :wall:

This will do 1 of 2 things for them. Either, they come back pissed off and the PATs are in trouble, or they start to doubt themselves and lose to the PATs IMO by a blowout. If the second thing happens the Hawks are in for a long middle of season. Until they figure it out at the end of the season and just make a wild card. Spot.:freak:

P.S. You have to give it to the RAMS for at least playing the 4th strong and not packing it in:beer:

Statistically, they are saying that was the 2nd greatest comeback in terms of points spread and time. The first is last years comeback victory for the colts over the bucs. I remember seeing that game... or at least turning it on with 5 minutes left and thinking this game is over... and didnt watch the rest, oops.

Rueben Droughns (sp?) finally gave Denver something to rely on offensively that isn't brain dead. Sure Plummer has/had some nice natural abilities but the guy makes bad decisions on a regular basis. Shanahan thinks he can coach it out of him. Good friggin luck.

Speaking of Quaterbacks, his numbers weren't great last game but, damn, if Warner isn't: (a) healthy. (b) getting O-line protection. (c) getting a helluva running game to fall back on. All of that spells maybe the kind of success that the Giants thought was a few years away... When do you pull this guy in favor of the HIGHLY touted rookie QB? Or do you? Tiki Barber the leagues leading rusher and Warner at the QB... REALLY want to see the Eagles vs. Giants games now. Still, I wish Dallas had listened to me and picked up Corey Dillon and Kurt Warner in the offseason... Can you imagine how happy I would be right now?

And speaking of Dillon... The Patriots, filled their biggest weakness in the offseason, and it showed. Brady didn't have his weapons at wide out and had a poor day, but they didn't just have to try and manage the game and pray their defense/special teams could win it for them (Baltimore anyone?). I hate to sound like a bandwagon kind of guy... I have yet to see a single team in the AFC that plays as well week in and week out as the Pats have or is as well balanced in all facets of the game.

Has anyone else seen Greenbay play in the last few weeks? Anyone else besides me wondering if they are only flying half their team to the games? WHERE IS THEIR DEFENSE AT??? It was bad against Indy, granted Indy can make most defenses look bad, but it was disasterous on Monday night. I hate to say it Animal (no I don't, honest) but Green Bay can kiss the playoffs good-bye unless they can fix that mess. After switching D coordinators in the offseason, you have to wonder how much of the problem is coaching. Speaking of Green Bay and coaching, Did you watch their special teams??? Their coverage was almost as good as it gets, with some decent returns as well. Not all is lost in cheese land, yet.

1) see my comment on Minnesota replacing Denver as the RB factory.

2) Mike Martz is, has been, and always shall be, an idiot. Everything that has gone wrong with that team since Dick Vermiel took them to the promised land lies directly at Martz's feet. He gets all Brian Billicky, Mike Shannahany "Oh I am an offensive genius! Oh I am a genius when it comes to game planning and picking quarterbacks!"

Since Shannahan lost one of the greatest (and one of my most personally disliked) QB's that team hasn't done shit. The only reason Billick won a Superbowl was one of the best defenses ever assembled. Oh! Someone named Griese! OOH someone named Plummer! Look at what Billick has started at QB since Trent Dilfer (thats right kiddies) won them a Superbowl

You watch Martz's playcalling and whenever he starts getting cocky he stops using Faulk. Arguably one of the best players to have played the game. Then he loses for a while. then he uses Faulk again and wins. AND THE MAN CAN'T GRASP IT!.

You watch the games where Warner struggled in St Louis and they were almost all games were this great "Offensive Genius" went pass wacky, the defenses tee'd off on it, and plastered Warner all over the damn field. That opening day debacle in NY last year Martz called 63! pass plays! My God Man!

Now Kurt's in NY, has an effective running game, and is winning. Hmmm strange corralary there isnt there? Mark my words the Rams will not win another Superbowl with this coach no matter how many marquee players he assembles.

3) No one can argue that the Patriots are the best team in football right now. And I personally believe this offends the Football Gods. Mark my words here in the 5th week of the season. The Patriots will NOT win the Superbowl this year. I'm not even saying they won't make it but ye God's have been offended and will not allow them the promised land.

4) Green Bay just adopted a new slogan. Instead of "The Pack is Back!" its "The Pack is IN Back!" Ay Carumba! How bad can this team get? Hmm lets see. Ed Donatell is in Atlanta fired because of the infamous "4 and 26" play. No offense to speak of even with Vick and yet they are 4-1? Have the lead leading sack leader and one of the best defenses in the game? That my friends was the little pile of snow you crunch in your hands before rolling it down the hill and watching it turn into a massive avalanche.

There is something very very wrong when my Minnesota Vikings are competing with Detroit (What the hell?) without Barry Sanders for the division lead.

As long as the New York Yankees continue to win, there IS NO GOD. Suck it up, and face the facts.
