Wakefield starts though, he makes me nervous. All he really throws is the knuckleball. On any given night he either has 'it' or he doesn't.

If they lose this game, they're cursed... I sure hope they win, not only are the Red Sox my favorite team i hate the yankees so much, and that prick A-Rod. What a douche.

A rod, while running to first base in the 9th inning, took his left arm, and purposefully swatted the glove arm of the ball carrier with a large down-stroke, making the ball fall out of his glove.
They made the right call by calling him out, and sending the runner that ended up on 3rd back to 2nd.
The rule is simple: if you accidentally hit the ball out of their hand while running normally its fine. If you "swat" at it, its not.

Yes he knocked the ball out of the guys hand. Was that any worse than the red sox player who intentionally knocking over the yankees second baseman on that double play 2 nights ago. The play was obviously over. Cheap shot imo. But what do I know as I am apparently the only Yankee fan willing to post here
