Doubtful I bet. Afterall, it's the truth that not many Americans know who our PM is... :(

Without Googling, how many Americans can name our PM right now?

Not many....

acutally martin was recently in washington, but it didn't make many headlines.

you have to be honest about the situation though. who cares if Martin goes to the US...what's going to come of it? shake hands and smile? the lumber dispute won't see an end any time soon, and the border to cattle will remain closed for many more months at least. as long as it's canadians facing trade problems, no one anywhere else will give a damn.

Martin's visit went under the radar for many reasons, one of which being that Canada's foreign policy is dictated by the UN (we all know they do nothing but talk) and we've gutted our military so much that it's shocking.

What's in Canada that makes news? We have a shit load of money, but we aren't willing to spend any of it on military to help needy starving war-ravaged people around the world.

Maybe people would pay more attention to us if we got off our asses and played a leading role in the international community like we used to.

All Canadians do these days is bitch about Bush and bash Americans.

To be honest, I don't think many Americans would care or even notice.

I remember a few years back when I was driving down the freeway and next thing I know police cars and motorcycle officers are eveywhere forcing everybody to exit the freeway then they block all the entrance ramps to the freeway. I was thinking to myself "this must be a funeral for a very important person." After sitting on the service road for about 3 minutes looking at an empty freeway. I was like what the hell's going on then before I knew it I see all these black suburbans and SUV's with very dark window tint go by with about 4 black limos in the middle with the little American flags waving.

I later found out he was down here to do some type of benefit or something with his dad, Bush Sr., who lives down here in Houston. It was an impressive sight to see the level of security taken to ensure the safety of the president wherever he goes.

You know what they sure do. My dad's been a motorcycle officer for over 20 years and he's escorted plenty of presidents.:P

Anyways he was telling me that they would show them what they had and when they opened the back of the SUV's, there was just about every type of the latest and greatest weaponry all laid out perfectly loaded and ready. :ar15:

If you want to get Americans pissed off just don't ask us about the French President. It won't be pretty.
