fantasy baseball is about as fun as fantasy hockey, way to many games, and way to many line up guys to start, if I had no kids, no wife, and no job then I would do fantasy baseball, just really no fun

it only takes about 4 minutes a day to fix your lineup. and anyways you can always look down the week 3 days ahead or so allowing you to have the lineup squared away for 3 or 4 days. if you can find the time to come on the forums you can do baseball damn it!!!!

The standard 5 x 5 categories are good.

Mark down 10 people as committed, my Buddy JB is in, he plays once in awhile but doesnt check the board.

I also like to have walks added in. Without walks, on base percentage doesn't count, and in the end OBP is more important than batting average.

All else being equal, I'll take a guy who hits .200 but has an OBP of .400 over a guy that hits .300 with an OBP of .333.

Walks?? Nahhh stick wit the 10 standard categories, that is the easist thing to do...

Wolfy, you draft a team and you compete in 10 different categories with a point value of 1-12. Add up your score in all 10 categories and there you go....

A list of rules is being completed as i speak... 5X5 is how the league will be set up but it definitely can change by the time draft starts.

Weasel i have no problem with your friends joining. But i do want to give the opportunity for any member of the forums joining. By a weeks time if no one else wants to join, i'll leave it up to you all to find one more person to join.

More details soon to follow.
