he was 11, hardly a boyscout at all. Unless you have a gung-ho leader a boyscout probably won't learn wilderness servival till they're older. It's actually a required merit badge for later advancement.

man i wondered off all the time to smoke cigarettes/pot and i never got lost. hell i even dropped acid a few times, wondered around the woods and still didnt' get lost.......stupid kids
