Yeah you lot pestered us into giving them back. In retrospect that was a dumb fucking move as only 3 of our postwar colonies have a higher gdp now than they did under us. In addition probably a third of them have gone into civil war or dictatorship. The others with some exceptions have been nicely raped by economic colonialists who unlike us put nothing back in...

It would probably surprise you to know that in the last 50 years of the empire it was rarely if ever in any significant profit. You might have to rethink that as the only reason it existed...

The smart plan would have been to let us do a structured withdrawl making sure that they were ready for independence. Then again the smart plan in vietnam would have been to leave it the democratic government that established itself post WWII instead of flying the French over ther to reclaim their colony. Good job guys
