I know exactly how you feel Random.
In highschool, I was very active in sports, made all-district 3 years in a row in football, ran track and worked out in the off-season every day. In Texas, football is a year-round sport.
But once I got to college, I became a lot less active and motivated being I had no more practices or games to look foward to. My grades suffered, the stresses of working and going to school full-time really started to take its toll on me.
So about a year ago I finally had enough and decided to overhaul my diet and start exercising/lifting weights 5-6 days a week. I stopped eating junk food, one of the toughest decision a 21 year old male will ever make.
Since then I've almost regained all my strength and endurance back along with becoming much more confident and postive in everything I do. From flying a little Cessna into Class B airspace to approaching a girl at a bar.
I know it sounds cheesy like those Gillette commercials but its true.
So basically what Random said. If your feeling down or bummed out. Just get out and do something active. Wash your car, walk the dog, anything is better than nothing. You'll feel a lot better afterwards.
